REFERENCES

Action Training Academy is associated and accredited with all the relevant statutory bodies, ensuring that all the courses we present are accredited and recognized by the appropriated entity.

We are also registered and accredited with the necessary “Fire Servicing” control bodies, ensuring all firefighting equipment installation and servicing compliance.

Health Professions Council of SA (HPCSA)
Our KZN and Vanderbijlpark training academy’s are fully accredited with the HPCSA to run the Basic Ambulance Assistant (BAA) course.

Both academy’s have also recently applied to be recognized as Continual Professional Development (CPD) providers, for which we are awaiting final approval.

We are extremely proud to be associated and accredited with the HPCSA and can assure industry and all our learners of an intensive and well structure learning experience which produces high quality BAA practitioners.

Health and Welfare Sectional Education Training Authority (HWSETA)
ATA has a long standing and excellent working relationship with the HWSETA, of which we are a fully accredited national training provider. Our accreditation number is HW592PA0500093 and has a number of approved unit standard aligned courses that we offer.

All our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) courses, First Aid, Fire Fighting and Health and Safety are aligned to specific unit standard and learners are able to receive official credits for the courses completed.

We also have approved skills programs, which is a combination of unit standard courses grouped together to form the skills program. An example of a skills program is our “Safety Officer” course which is 10 days in duration and the learners receives 17 official credits.

Department of Labour (DOL)
Action Training Academy is also registered as an approved training service provider with the DOL. Our accreditation number is C464 and we are accredited to present First Aid Level 1, 2 & 3 nationally.

South African Bureau of Standards (SABS)
We are an SABS 1475 “Mark Holder” for the maintenance and overhaul of Fire Fighting equipment. We have SABS approval for all our fixed workshops situated at Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, our mobile workshops thought the country and all our service vehicles attached to the fixed workshops.

SAQCC Training
We are an SAQCC accredited training and assessment centre for fire equipment service personal.
